Nevada Estate Taxes

Upon your death federal and Nevada taxes can be collected.  If your estate is large enough to meet the minimum filing standards ($1.5 million for deaths in 2005), the executor of your estate has 9 months to file United States Estate Tax Return (IRS Form 706) and pay any taxes that are due.
