Idaho Wills

Who Can Make a Will?

An Idaho Last Will and Testament can be created by an adult of sound mind.

Idaho Estate Taxes

Upon your death federal and Idaho taxes can be collected.  If your estate is large enough to meet the minimum filing standards ($1.5 million for deaths in 2005), the executor of your estate has 9 months to file United States Estate Tax Return (IRS Form 706) and pay any taxes that are due.

Probate: Idaho courts and your Last Will

Probate has come to be known as the legal process where a deceased person's estate is administered and distributed.  Probate fees mainly consist of the cost of hiring a probate attorney.  For a simple Idaho Will and estate probate fees are generally reasonable.
